Thanks Fred! Is anyone going to Convention that has room for one or two or more in their vehicle? Is anyone not signing up only due to transportation? If everyone could share here what they can offer and what they need, maybe some great connections can be made!

 

Has anyone asked Future in sight to connect with a volunteer driver either one way or both? Are there ride services in certain areas that not everyone knows about? Teamwork can make the difference!

Good morning everyone!

 

  I want to remind everyone that the deadline to register for the 2025 NFB of NH State Convention is approaching quickly. The deadline is April 19th.

  The proposed agenda is as follows. Please note that the agenda could change without notice.

     8:30 – 9:30 AM       Continental Breakfast 

     9 AM                          President Deanna O'Brien - open the convention 

     9:30 – 10:15 AM     President Grace Pires, NFB Rhode Island  

     10:15 – 10:45 AM  James Ziegra, Senior Staff Attorney, Disability Rights Center of New Hampshire (DRC-NH) 

     15 min. Break

     11 – 11:30 AM        Scott Vitner, Administrator, Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired (SBVI) 

     11:30 AM – 12 PM       Joan and Debra National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS) Talking Book Program

     12 – 2 PM                 Lunch

     2 – 2:30 PM             To Be Determined 

     2:30 – 3 PM             Dana Trahan, Legislative Director for NFB NH

     15 min. Break, Snacks will be available from 3 – 4:30 PM

    3:15 - 4 PM              Fred Fournier - Treasurers Report, Deanna O'Brien - Presidential Speech, Voting

     4 – 4:30 PM             Jean Shiner NFB-NEWSLINE®, Accessible voting 

     4:30 – end                Convention wrap up and raffles
