Hello NFB NH,

Loss and grieving is part of life’s processes. But when it hits close to
home we all get this feeling of wait, I need to process. Let me just be to
ponder, reflect, and find gracious space to honor our feelings and those we
loss.

Dr. Elizabeth Kuebler Ross wrote the book on death and dying that taught
us, and myself, to try and accept the five stages of grief with gracious
space for our hearts, minds, and spirit. Don’t tell yourself to get over
it, allow yourself to work through your feelings and emotions in your own
time.

Step one is denial
Step two is anger
Step three is bargaining
Step four is depression
Step five is acceptance

We may go through each stage but bounce between them as well. I am here to
support any of you going through these stages as we mourn our loved one. It
is what I do a lot in my holistic and functional wellness practice.

Thank you Carolyn for your dedication and love to Tony and all our members.
I truly feel your strength and commitment.

Thank you Kelley for your beautiful reflection.
