Hi everyone so on Sunday December 13th we held a conference call. 
Atendees were Evelyn, myself (Shafeka), Greg Rivera, Melissa Herff, 
Marie Lomax, Dan Romero, Jason Capady, Jeremy Capady, Shaun Okeif, 
Christina Michel, Jenna Tiberi, and Paul Grenier. We were called to 
order at 8 p.m and began the meeting with the reading of the NFB 
pledge. We had our national representative Caren Anderson informing us 
of this year's Washington seminar, the issues being discussed, and 
reasons to attend. Our meeting focused on the value and the role of a 
students division. We really want everyone to be very motivated, and 
actively participate in the division, and get your friends or peers 
involved as well. One great idea Caren gave us was to hold a students 
get-together. This would resemble convention, but only be for 
participants in the  students division. It would be one day long in the 
spring and at a central location for all the students to meet with one 
another and share information, experiences, and to socialise. In 
addition we talked about different fund raising tactics like an 
auction, fares, and remember we allways want your ideas and your 
involvement to enhance our division. Caren Anderson is a great resource 
for the NJABS so if anyone wishes to contact her please feel free to 
email at kea.anderson at gmail.com. In short Caren explained that the more 
united we are as a group, the more successful, intelligent, fun, and 
exciting our group will be which serves as a positive outcome for each 
and everyone of us. The meeting was adjourned at 8.55 p.m.
