"Camp Marcella-back and better than ever!"

Yes-there will be a program for visually impaired children at Camp Marcella this

summer! The Board of Trustees of New Jersey Camp for Blind Children, Inc. and Easter

Seals has signed an agreement that will provide at least one camping session. Depending

upon the response from interested families an additional session may be provided.

August 1st through August 6th is the date currently set for this years' program.

Applications are currently being accepted and we are anticipating an initial enrollment

of at least 50 campers. Phil Cocilovo will be returning as Camp Director for this

session

Enrolling campers are expected to pay for the camping session. Camperships may be

provided for those children in need of full or partial assistance as funds become

available.

During the Camp's transition period it has been the Board's goal to contact as many

families of visually impaired children as possible in order to increase the number

of children who could benefit from a session at Camp Marcella. If anyone knows

of a visually impaired child in your community please pass this information on to:

PDG Paula M. Tarantino, 201-709-4944 or e-mail:

pdgpaula at verizon.net

and information will be forwarded to the family.
