Welcome Ruth Low by Evelyn.

She is:
assistant director
Office of Disabilities Policy at ETS(Educational Testing
Services). 08:04 pm:
Ruth began her presentationn.
ETS used to be educational testing service.
It does not stand for that anymore but it still is known as ETS.
Most of her work has to do with graduate level and professional
testing.
It includes the GRE.
Other tests also such as the Praxis and the Test of English as a
foreign language.
The ETS sets the accomidations polacy for the company of the
test.

The accommidationns polacy for the GRE and praxis test is part of
what Ms. Loew does.
The Biggest concern for people is applying for acomidationns and
qualifying.
You have to fill out the acommidation form and apply for the test
an send them together.
The GRE people need your money before you can take the test.
Most of the time you do not have to submit a lot of information
when it comes to blindness.

On the Graduate Record Exam, ETS does have braille and recorded,
material, as well as scripts for readers.
A year ago, they developed software for taking the test.
They send you a cd to install the software so you can see if you
like it before you take the tesst.
There are enlarged and tactile graphics in addition to the
grafics on the computer.
The test is typically taken at the dissability resource center of
your college.
They do also have accessible practice materials for the GRE.

They have materials for other tests, but not as much yet because
not many tests are as universal as the GRE.
