On Wednesday, September 15 at 8:00 pm eastern, Joe Ruffalo,national
board member, president of the state affiliate in New Jersey and  host
of Thru Our Eyes
will interview Shafeka Hashash,high school student  and member of the
National Federation of the Blind Students Division.  The interview
will highlight
her experience as a delegate appointed by the United Nations to
represent the United States at a disability conference held in Syria
this past August.
The interview will also feature her involvement in the organization,
school and the community as a teacher and student in changing what it
means to be blind.
