Welcom Trish, and my wishes for a happy new year to everyone.
Wonder and I are gearing up to go to the Pennsylvania Ski for Light and want to urge any of you who like the outdoors to consider coming next year. It is cross country skiing and each blind person is matched with a guide. The dogs do have to stay in the room while you are skiing, burt those of us with dogs try to do two dog walks a day too. You can take the dogs along if you go snowshoeing. You also have to leave them for sledding. At night we play games, sing around the piano, knit by the fire, whatever. It is the friendliest fun warmest group I have ever been a part of so do consider it for next year. It is a week long but some of us go for a half week. One of My buddys from high school comes from California and goes as a guide, and a college friend of mine is also coming as a guide. I should have written about it sooner because the week starts this Sunday. They also have a camp session in the summer.
Happy mushing.
Sue, and Wonder
