[Njtechdiv] Filling out PDF forms

Yesterday, I received a form I needed to fill out by email. It was in PDF
format, and I was unable to edit it, so I saved it as TXT and put in the
required data.

But is there a way to fill out forms without converting the format?  In the
PDF form, every time I tried to put in my name, which starts with T, Jaws
bounced over to a table.  Also, Save was disabled on the file menu.  

Thanks for any hints as to how to handle this, next time it comes up.
