all ports are the same in front and back you choose 
the back I like that because I keep the ones in the front for thumb drives

Wahoo! Yesterday, I was successful printing from my old XP laptop, which has a parallel port. I guess I’ll buy the USB to parallel cable Index sells, and try replicating my success on my newer PC.

Does anyone know which port I should assign the printer to in Windows 7, USB001 or LPT1?
