This was sent to me from Eileen Scrivani a member of our tech division.
I told her I would post it here for our list serve.
Also, she will share on the tech division conference call slated for this
Monday at 8 PM

Jane,
Thought some might be interested in these two items of interest about Apple
Accessibility:
First, seems like the Apple store is starting to carry accessible technology
like Braille displays. I don’t know all the details and got it from a Mac
list ...
You can now buy braille displays, switch interfaces and eye gaze trackers from
the Apple store:
http://www.apple.com/shop/accessories/all-accessories/accessibility
Second, ITunes now has a seperate section for Audio Described movies. This
was in the Top Tech Tidbits:
It is now easier to take stock of the growing collection of audio-described
movies in the iTunes collection, as Apple has created a designated room for
them in iTunes:

and this one as well. . .
I came across this announcement in the news letter I get from American
Foundation for the Blind. Here is the link for any one who might be looking
for reduce cost technology:

Good luck,
Keep Smiling,
