[Janie Degenshein]

The owner was Steven Ianicone and he died at the age of mid 60's I think 63 
or so
He suffered for a long while so I would guess cancer but not ever disclosed
Anyway, I personally know the editor of his website as she is part of my 
ECHO blind support group here In west Orange

Janie, thanks for quickly replying. do you know the reason for his
passing? how old he was? I guess my friend will just have to put a hold
on her lessons for now. it's good news someone or more than one person
will pickup the reigns to promote VE. is there a way she can be notified
when the site has been revived or will she just have to try until she's
able to login again, maybe subscribe to VE's newsletter?

I knew him personally
He did in fact pass away and they are looking into another person or persons
to revive it
He was a kind gentleman and I surely will miss his contributions to the
blind community

a friend of mine is trying to get to voiceover-easy.net to continue her
lessons but is experiencing:

heading level 2 403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.
heading level 3 You do not have permission to view this directory or
page using the credentials that you supplied.

Firefox ESR, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer all produce the same
message. some quick Googling results that the owner passed away recently
(sometime in October 2017?). it was also suggested the lessons are maybe
being updated? does anyone know for certain why the website is down?
