a friend of mine is asking a question that I don't know the answer to.
he has an iPhone 8 with IOS 11.4.1 and wants to know if he will lose the
use of the home key due to upgrading to version 12?

and along the same subject, what other features might he lose if he
upgrades to 12?

are there any things he will have to do to prepare his iPhone 8 before
upgrading to version 12?

he is searching online, but is not having any luck finding accurate
results. any help is appreciated.
