forgoing which browser you're using, you shouldn't need to route the
jaws cursor to the pc cursor before right clicking on the filename.
I'm assuming to open the pdf, you can tab to it and press enter to open
it? if so, try right clicking it instead of pressing enter on it and see
if there is a save as option in the list of commands that pops up.
alternately, you can try pressing the application key (that is, if your
keyboard has one) or shift+f10 instead of right clicking it.
failing that, once the pdf has been opened, there is a save as option in
the file menu. if it is grayed out or unavailable, the alternative is to
simply press control+s might provide a way to save the pdf.
simply, there are times when a website author or pdf creator just
doesn't provide or allow the saving (or converting) of a pdf. you might
want to contact the bank either by phone, email or online chat to ask if
there is a way to save the pdf since it's basically a listing, and
explain why you want/need to do so.

Subject: [Njtechdiv] Opening PDF on-Line?
Hi All,
I am trying to open a statement for my credit card on my bank’s web
site. while I can find and open the PDF on-the-spot, I cannot figure out
how to download a copy to my hard drive. Does anyone have any thoughts
on how I can accomplish this? I’m using the latest version & release of
Jaws 2019 & Windows 10.
I’ve tried routing my cursor on what I think is the file name and
hitting the right mouse button, but am not presented with the menu to
save/download. I want to have a copy on my computer so I can use K1000
to open and read the document to me.What I am reading on-line does not
give me the breakdown of charges & that’s what I want to review. I
usually don’t have problems trying to save pdf’s to my drive – this is
very frustrating!
Thanks for any help or pointers in the right direction.
Eileen
