I think Thunderbird works with other things besides gmail, so maybe I'll

Thats too bad that windows  ten mail  doesn't  work well.  That would 
be handy for  many of us if it did.

I am using gmail  with  mazilla  thunderbird Someone at the library  
set it up and their are  keystrokes for it. It is supposed to be easier 
than  using  gmail through  the  browser.  I am not too good  about 
explaining it.  I have been  using  sero from serotek which is  
extrememly easy  but also  the  whole  thing including the movies and 
the other links is  $150. a year.  I want to try to  get better at  
gmail  since it is  free  and use sero only  on my phone which would  
drop the price to  $6.  a month. I have other  expenses that I  didn;t 
used to have so  using gmail  would be  a possible solution. I am 
looking for  email that will allow me to  crete folders and gmail  lets 
me do  that.

I too have jaws with the latest  version but  have often thought of  
using n v  d a which i hear is wonderful.
