Hello,
First off, there is an IOS update that came out a week ago, so I would
try installing that to see if that fixes your issue. If not, I would
try Dave suggestion of closing all apps. How you access the app
switcher depends on which iPhone you have. If you are using a phone
that still has a home button, double click the home button to bring up
the app switcher. If on a phone with no home button, Dave is correct
on the gestures you would need to use. In either case, you can either
swipe up with three fingers to close the app or you can swipe up with
one finger until you get to close, then double tap. Although swiping
up with three fingers is quicker, sometimes the phone doesn't
recognize that gesture, so you may have to use the Actions rotor to
close your apps. I don't use screen time, but I don't think having a
braille display paired via Bluetooth affects screen time. If the above
suggestions do not help, you might want to call Apple Accessibility at
877-204-3930. They will be able to screen share with you and can
figure out what is causing errors with screen time.
