When I read what the Blind Mcgyver said about a new version of captcha, I
wrote to the NFBCS list to ask about it, and got this answer from Curtis
Chong:

 

"The most recent iteration of Google Recaptcha eliminates the checkbox for
verifying you are not a robot and does a lot of behind the scenes stuff to
verify you are, in fact, a real person as opposed to a bot. This is indeed
confusing for those of us who are used to looking for the audio CAPTCHA."

 

So, apparently, sometimes you have to find and solve the captcha, or the
checkbox, and sometimes not, depending on how up-to-date a website is.
