>From what I read on another list, after a couple people updated both iOS and Uber, the Uber rating and tip window only stayed open for 5 seconds, not long enough to put in a tip.

Hi Tracy, you should just be able to tap on the message and it will open the link. Without having to navigate to the link. And as far as Uber, I just used it the other day and everything was working fine this is both on android and iOS. If anybody wants to know, I ordered food from Uber the other day and I also looked at transportation rights as well. So no problems there.

Then how do I get to the link?  Moving word by word?  It doesn’t seem to be separated from the rest of the text.  Maybe that’s the problem? 

Both my problem texts were appointment-related.  One was something like “use this link to check in”, and the other was “use this link to read the instructions about your lab test”. 

They seem like the kind of links people must get all the time, but they’re not doing anything for me. 

If it matters, I have an iPhone 8, running the just-previous version of iOS.  I hear the very latest version might have messed up Uber, so I’m waiting a few weeks before I update so whatever went wrong can get fixed.

I asked about this before, and I thought I got it, but clearly not.  

Last week, I got 2 texts with links in them, but I wasn’t able to follow the link.  

This is what I did:

Open the text.

Change the rotor to Links and swipe down with 1 finger until I was on the link (I thought).

Double tap.

 

Nada.

I also tried changing the rotor again to Actions, once I was on the link, but that didn’t work either.  

Where am I going wrong?
