[NJTechDiv] writing Spanish accented letters in Gmail

Hi all,

I'm taking a Spanish class.  It seems that the MS Word keyboard command
control apostrophe desired letter doesn't work in Gmail.  Unless this
command somehow conflicts with a Jaws command in Gmail, but not in Word?
Does anyone know a keyboard command or Google Chrome extension to write
Spanish accent marks in gmail?
