[NJTechDiv] report Lyft ride never occured

Hi all,
On 12/10/2024, I requested a Lyft ride to go part of the way home from
work. (My job is quite far from my house.) The app said my driver was
arriving in four minutes. It continued saying this without any other
progress/update about the time. I finally realized something was wrong, so
I asked my sighted co-worker to look at the Lyft map. He saw that the
driver was nowhere near my location! He realized the driver must've
declined my ride. As some of you might know, when a driver declines a
ride, Lyft usually very quickly tells the passenger that they're getting
him/her a new driver. This has happened to me successfully several times.
Since the Lyft map accurately showed my co-worker that the driver was
nowhere near my location, however, I think the driver must've decided to
decline my ride, but didn't cancel the ride in his Lyft app. As soon as my
co-worker and I realized what had happened, I canceled the ride. Lyft
didn't charge me. Out of the goodness of his heart, my co-worker gave me a
ride to my destination where my parents picked me up! :-)
Although Lyft didn't charge me, I'd like to report the incident to
encourage them to train their drivers better to emphasize that they MUST
cancel rides within their app if they decide to decline them! In the Lyft
help section, there's no category for "my driver didn't show up!" Any
suggestions about how to report this?
