Hi list does anyone on list know why programs sometimes become unresponsive and suddenly stop. A message like “winamp is not responding, if you close the program you’ll lose data you have a wait for the program to respond and a close. This is what was happening during radio shows and I made the mistake of taking the advise to uninstall and reinstall station playlist. Now I’ve been off air for over a week waiting for help in reauthorizing the software. I have noticed however winamp is also doing this and so is my Seagate hard drive it will say not responding for a few seconds. What is the cause of this. I went through hoops with Microsoft accessibility telling me what I already knew about what quick assist was boy do I wish more call centers were American Huh? They are getting very sloppy not training agents that well Huh? I can’t retart radio shows until I know station playlist studio won’t do this again. It’s something on the computer. I’ve antivirus scanned and checked for file system errors so far nothing. Anyone know what is the cause of such and such program is not responding… wait for the program to respond or close program. I can’t close station playlist middle of a show will lose my whole playlist and get knocked off air and when program failes to respond I can do nothing including open the mic to say there is a problem. Baffled. Is there an alternative to Microsoft accessibility for issues like that?
