[NJTechDiv] a question about messenger.

Hi tech division members. Ken here I have the messenger app on my Iphone that’s messenger from facebook, and I also have it on my computer.  I don’t see an option for this in the menue but if I have it active, how do I know without checking who is and isn’t active, when someone comes online.  In other word is there a way to set up messenger to notify me when a contact comes online.  Can I set messenger up so it says, “so and so is active.
