[NJTechDiv] QR codes on the iPhone, and ESim

I want to change phone providers, and I have to choose between an ESim or a
sim card.  The ESim comes in an email as a QR code. 

I don't have email on my phone, and I don't want it there.  So the email
would come on my PC.  I don't really know how to grab a QR code with my
phone.  Do I just take a picture of it with my phone camera?  Or is there a
special place I have to go to capture QR codes?  And, once I've got it, do I
just tap it to execute whatever it's supposed to do?

 

And does anyone have thoughts about ESim vs sim card?
