[NJTechDiv] Printer problem

I have a braille printer. I printed a couple things the other day, and
then, when I sent the last thing to the printer, it didn't print. I tried
again today, and again it didn't receive my stuff. I see my item in the
print queue, but it's not printing.
The printer connects to the PC with a parallel-to-USB cable. When I turn on
the printer, the PC makes the USB connection sound. The cable is connected
securely at both ends, and it's in the PC USB port that's always worked
before. The printer is online and comes on with the appropriate sound.
I don't know what else to check. Any ideas?
