Subject: DAISY reader for Android

My company recently released a new app for Android smartphones. I'm
attaching the press release below in case you would like to make the
information available to your students.

St. Louis, MO -- Dec 5, 2011 -- New Designs Unlimited, LLC, a leading
manufacturer of assistive technology, today released a new product for
reading DAISY books on Android powered smart phones. This much anticipated
product is the first of its kind for Android devices. Blind and dyslexic
Android users can now access DAISY digital talking books anywhere without
having to carry along an additional bulky, single-purpose player.

Darwin Reader for Android supports all flavors of DAISY digital talking
books, including DAISY 2 and DAISY 3 text and audio formats. Books can be
easily transferred from the computer to the phone. The app also directly
integrates with Bookshare to make finding new books amazingly simple for
qualified members; more integrations are on the product's road-map.

The news has garnered significant excitement among users in the "Eyes-Free"
Android community. Many have already downloaded and posted positive reviews
about the app. Mike, a prominent technology podcast personality wrote,
"Yes, this is an awesome app, and this is only the first version, one of the
best apps I have used for sure." Richard, another user in the community,
joined the discussion with his review of the app, "The Darwin Reader app may
just be the best thing since sliced gingerbread! If you don't have it yet,
get to the market quick and buy it before the developer finds out he is
selling it for way too little money!"

Availability:
Darwin Reader is available now on the Android market. The app is on sale
for $3.95 through the end of the 2011, when the price will increase. A 30
day trial version is available as well.
