Wanted to share this with you all:

Dear Colleagues,

You are invited to join a Disability Mentoring Webinar hosted by Verizon on
January 26, from 12 noon until 1:30 PM to share with you and jobseekers with
disabilities the employment opportunities and initiatives at Verizon. This
is an incredible opportunity offered by Verizon, and I hope you can all take
advantage of it!

This DMD Webinar is coordinated by the disability employee resource group
within Verizon, DIAL (Disability Issues Awareness Leaders), and will feature
members of DIAL and Verizon's Human Resources team to present Verizon's
best-practices around disability employment, share their successes with DMD
and other disability employment programming, and answer questions from
students and jobseekers with disabilities about employment opportunities
with Verizon. This is a tremendous opportunity to engage with leadership at
one of DMD's strongest corporate
partners, and learn what they are doing and have done to support current and
future employees with disabilities. AAPD encourages you to participate in
this free DMD Webinar and share this invitation with your networks,
especially any jobseekers with disabilities interested in careers in
business, communications, technology, or broadband.

Please RSVP to VZDIAL at verizon.com with subject-line "DMD 1/26/2010" - and
call-in information and links are below and attached.

Thank you all, and looking forward to having you on the Webinar,
David Hale
