yeah, its built in. that is what I meant. I meant to put a comma after no.
The no part was the answer to the question of the screen reader. and the
other part; macs have voice over was another sentence.
Macs have come with voice over for several years.

All Macs (and iPads and I think iPhones) come with VoiceOver. It is built
into all the new operating systems, I think from Leopard on up. But I think
you are right about older versions (again, before Leopard).
On "newer" Macs, its "Command + F5" to turn it on and off (you don't need
the "FN" key).
