[nobe-l] [noble-l] blind nanny in training

Hi,
  Given your interests, have you thought about being an early childhood educator or specialist instead of these two positions.

1)  There is typically no need for a driver's license.

2)  Many totally blind individuals have successfully taken these positions.

3)  Depending on the route of this that you choose you could work in  your home, a school, or daycare center, or other position.

4)  They would allow you  to perform the skills  of both of the types of positions you are asking about.

5)  They would allow you to work with many children at the same time.

  Also, these types of degrees would likely make you qualified for either of the two positions you are asking about should such an opportunity come your way.  In other words, it would greatly increase your chances of doing what you love without the extra pain of dealing with parents (and you would have less of an ADA fight on your hands from what it sounds like those positions would result in for you).

Yes, a nanny is, sort of, basically, a paid substitute mother so that the mom can go to work or whatever because she does not have time for giving her children her full attention. And yes, a governess is basically a woman tutor who homeschools the children.
