If you are a braille user, the system is called the Marks system for hand writing. As far as your signature, remember that it is a question of consistency, rather than legibility. It is always nice that people can read it, but I know a lot of people with perfectly good vision who have not mastered that yet.

Continuing Kelsey's question about teaching writing, does anyone have suggestions on how I could learn to sign my name? It seems my relatives do not have enough patience to teach me. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Best,

Irina

I'd suggest obtaining a set of tactile alphabets, ones that you can feel the shapes and trace.

Hi Irena,
There is a method of learning the letters using the Braille cell, so if you know a tvi, they may be able to help you with this. I can try to google it for you. What is your email address and I'll write you offlist?
Thank you,
Kelsey Nicolay
