Hello,
I have a Braillenote apex that has a ghost dot on one of the
cells. Since the unit is four or five years old, I don't think I
want to put the money into fixing it right now since I can't
really use it for work. I have an ipad with a Focus 14 blue
Braille display and have been strongly urged to get an iphone
which I plan to do eventually. Therefore, my name is whether you
think an ipad, iphone, or both used with a Braille display would
be a sufficient replacement for the apex. As I said, I don't use
it for work; I mainly use it for email, web browsing, keeping
track of contact information, etc. I have some files on it as
well, but they are not absolutely necessary. Your thoughts would
be greatly appreciated. Also, do you think that in the long
term, 14 cells of Braille is enough for reading email or any
other task I choose to do or should I consider investing in a
slightly larger display? I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you,
Kelsey Nicolay
