Hi again all,

Heather raises a very good point. It is really important to set up your own routines and expectations in a way that works best for you Tara. I fell into the error of allowing other people to dictate what it was that was acceptable when I was student teaching, and this was very stressful and made me miserable in a lot of instances.

Heather outlined many useful resources that could be helpful to you, one more thing that wasn't mentioned was the use of a SmartBoard or computer. If you are comfortable using PowerPoint, this is another option. Using software that will enable you to present the material that you need, as well as break down step-by-step how to create the symbols for your students.
