If you’re looking for a Masters program, Louisiana Tech University offers a Masters in teaching blind students, and it is a great program! Wonderful Blindness philosophy! The program is mostly online except a few visits to Ruston.
I graduated from this program, and I highly recommend it.

I currently live in Boston and am looking to move. I am limited by not holding a teaching certification however; I’d need a program that provided the general certification as well, not just the TVI specialization. Unfortunately, I’ve heard less than positive things about the program here in Boston. From what I’ve heard, there tends to be a focus on vision and not much awareness of blind people being TVIs. It sounds less than ideal for a blind person like myself.
