[NOBE-L] Getting hired in California?

Hi, I’m about to start a teaching credential program and wondering what people’s experience is in California getting hired with a vision impairment. I tried to get hired as an aide and wasn’t hired. I’ve seen on a lot of the job descriptions the need for a valid drivers license. Is this a way to weed out anyone with a vision impairment? I don’t want to waste my time and money going to school if I’ll never get hired. Thanks for any feedback. Robin
