[Nyabs] {Disarmed} Mayoral Bill Signing

Hi everyone,

Some time ago, I sent out information about three bills passed by the 
NYC City Council, including one that will require more accessible 
audible pedestrian signals. See the email below if you are interested in 
attending the signing of these bills.

Dear Friend:
Council Member Gale A. Brewer wanted to remind you that on Tuesday, 
April 17 at 5PM Mayor Bloomberg will be signing three pieces of 
legislation into law related to improving accessibility for people with 
disabilities. The bill signing will take place at City Hall. Amongst 
these bills is Intro 183-A, Council Member Brewer’s bill creating an 
Accessible Pedestrian Signal program. The bills are as follows:
*Int. 183-A* - in relation to accessible pedestrian signals.
*Int. 449-A - *in relation to the livery passenger bill of rights.**
*Int. 745-A - *in relation to requiring the department of transportation 
to post on its website pedestrian related project information accessible 
to people with disabilities.
