> We hope your year is off to a great start. Here are a few announcements to get us excited to continue the momentum of our oral history project, Visible Lives: Oral Histories of the Disability Experience, in the new year!
> Upcoming Community Meeting - Saturday, January 31st from 10:30 - 12:00pm at Andrew Heiskell Library: Each month from now until the end of our project, we'll have community meetings where we can all get together for refreshments and conversation. We'll share best practices, ask each other questions, and get a chance to connect about the incredible work being done so far! Open to the public.
> A project extension: As we turn the corner into 2015, we've decided to collect oral histories for Visible Lives: Oral Histories of the Disability Experience until July 2015! This is the 25th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, so our project will be an important part of this month.
> Interviewers - Recording Interviews at Andrew Heiskell:  We now have a new recording space at Andrew Heiskell Library. It can be booked on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a starting time either between 10:00am and 12:30pm, or 2:15pm and 4:30pm. If these times don't work for you or your storyteller, you can contact Alex Kelly (AlexandraKelly at nypl.org) directly.
> New Storytellers: Are you interested in being paired with another storyteller for this project? Please respond to this e-mail to let us know so that you can be paired.
