for everyone's info, I also went to Flagdu and sent Mike robinson some 
suggestions for a page.  Tracy, my suggestions were your suggestions as 
well.  Marion, can we add the Model policy for Health Care Facilities or are 
you still working on that?

OK, this is what I have so far.
Should we include a document of guide dog myths and misconceptions?  There
must be one around somewhere.

We are the New York Association of Guide Dog Users, a division of the
National Federation of the Blind of New York, and also of the National
Association of Guide Dog Users.  We welcome people who are guide dog
users, those who are interested in becoming guide dog users, or those who
just care about guide dog issues.  Dues are $10.00 per year.
We help people having dog-related access issues advocate for themselves,
and we work to improve laws so as to prevent future problems.  Through our
listserv, nyagdu at nfbnet.org, we discuss issues relating to guide dogs,
anything from access to dog retirement, behavior questions, or whether
getting a guide dog might be a good move for you.  We have dog users from
several different training programs, which gives us a broader perspective
than groups limited to one school's graduates.  Also, our association with
our national division lets us share ideas and solutions with other dog
users all over the country. We invite you to join us to make friends and
do important work.
