[Nyagdu] one sided representing on guide dog school list

I will let you know what happened. Jeanine Stanley had recently posted this
past week about a GDUI advocacy link, Marion a few weeks about had put on
the list about the FLAGDU PSA which is on youtube. Which was never posted.
In the past the school has posted about other GDUI things and never put
anything about ours. So I posted ours as well as the NAGDU page. It is
really childish. When she posts things about GDUI which she has e-mailed me
saying that she never gets anything officially from NAGDU, she is on our
list, GDF comes to our convention. At convention I had run for V.P. which I
am surprised came out of my mouth which I wanted to do was run for Board
Member, but one of the issues Michael Hingson and I have is to have the
guide dog school be accountable for there actions, of course GDF is going to
take the defense. No guide dog school is going to admit anything for or
against either us or GDUI, I was stressing an issue that I had and my own
opinion. I am not going to apologize or defend myself either.
Margo, with all respect to you and our great organization. GDF not only has
there trekker training rep who is the long island chapter president of the
ACB working for them, to which J Evans and I like each other and respect
each other, but one of my one time friends we still speak but because she is
also a member of ACB we cannot have a resonable conversation, so we agreed
not to speak is there number one spokesperson who works with Lions Groups,
etc. This is not a power struggle, I really don't care in that respect, but
what I do care about is that and I have heard it and lived it, the
negativity at GDF about NFB or NAGDU. Brad Greenspan who is our V.P. here
long island who has been around longer than myself, never had a dog, support
NAGDU and has recently again has come to the NYAGDU list, he reads
everything and comes to the board meetings every month and mutes his phone
and listens. He is also a part of the Lions and has had issues in the past
and currently with GDF. That is all I am saying in the matter.
Again, like I have said they will take the defense because they have to.
I am running all over the place with this. the talk list is for the Grads
of the list the school doesn't run the list. But my point I was trying to
show is that whether it be Barrie who is no longer there or Jeanine who is
there since I have never heard either one of them post anything about NAGDU.
So when I came back to the list a few months ago after being sick of the
garbage and went back only because I wanted to bring the positive of NAGDU
and get members and to show what NAGDU and NYAGDU is doing better than
before.
I don't care if I have to defend myself to them, which I don't I post that
if someone wants to discuss things further to post to me off list. I am
proud to post NAGDU stuff and will continue to do so.
What we do will not always make us popular, but it will educate others.
