Greetings all,

I'm looking for a new place to rent. My budget is very low.. I'm searching on craigslist and I've found some nice ads but they are alergic to dogs. Obviously by law a landlord can't refuse a service animal, but in a roommate situation you have to disclose because of alergies etc.
How have the rest of you found your housing. I'd greatly appreciate any tips. I wish I could just aford an apt on my own, but I can't unfortunately and HUD waiting list is closed.. So if you guys know of any resources that may help me I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm hoping to find a new place asap because my roommate situation here is very uncomfortable and I don't feel safe here.
