[Oabs] OABS Update: Budgets, and banking, and money (oh my)!

Hi Emily and all,

Great, I was just worried since I had not heard anything about it that
we weren't getting anything at all. That just made my nerves unravel
a few times. :)

I'm going to follow up with Eric and Sherry on Tuesday morning to make
sure we're getting this secretary of state stuff under control.
Although we are good to go for this fundraiser (hence earlier sigh of
relief), Emily and I have already tried to get to the bank once and
had difficulty because of this issue. I know it is frustrating that
we students, who aside from Emily don't really know the ins and outs
of banking apart from what is needed to handle our personal funds, are
having to handle these issues as we learn about them, but to put a
positive experience on it, this is a good wake up for the entire
affiliate. I think even the higher ups on the board are having to
think back because all the other accounts were established so long
ago, and I have to admit that Eric's reaction to me telling him the
cost was $125 to set up the secretary of state registration was kind
of funny in hindsight. By the time all this is said and done, we
should be the experts on the modern ins and outs of setting up a
business account for the next division or group that might pop up and
decide to do it.

Thanks for the update, Emily. *phewwww*
