Good afternoon NABS!

 

Learning Ally wants to find students who are blind or visually impaired and
just beginning their first year of higher education or students who still
need some support with the networks and tools required for success in a
higher education setting.  

They are developing services for these students and need help testing and
exploring their services and ideas and getting feedback along the way.  The
program includes access to mentors, peer support and web based resources.  

 

If you are interested or know someone who is, please have them email Mary
Alexander, Director of National Initiatives at Learning Ally, at
malexander at learningally.org.

 

This is a great opportunity to not only benefit from the services offered,
but also to shape the program to make it maximally beneficial to blind
students. I encourage you to contact Mary and get involved.
