For those of you on the student email account, you may have seen an account confirmation through a site. The only reason I did this is so that I could test the line. We do not have to use it, but I will bring the proposal to the meeting next week. But for now, here’s what I have found. The company is called Free Conference Pro. It is not what NABS uses, but I’ve been hearing from many people that there is trouble with the accessibility of Free Conference call’s website. I have looked at free conference pro and it seems very accessible. It would I’ve us a number in the 218 area code, similar to the first number we used. We can customize our passcode, in this case I did a trial with the code students 78833687. Easy to remember, and very customizable. The line is open even before the host arrives, giving time for conversation. You can have multiple hosts, which allows us to mute the rest of the line for presentations. You can customize who is muted and who is not. Calls can be recorded and reviewed after meetings. This is just what I have found so far. Let me know what you all think.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
