How many of us who are skilled guy dog handlers would allow our dogs to miss behave in public? We understand better than anyone else the value that these pogs bring to us. We understand the value and the treasure of the relationship we have with our pog. Those who truly need the skills that the dog provides will go the extra mile to love care for groom a train and grow their pod for its entire life. Those who are just looking to bring an animal, untrained fun behave and allowed back in nonqualified into a situation where it does not belong will not follow the same thought process or guidelines as those of us who are skilled qualified certified guy dog handlers.

There is no perfect solution to this, and I believe we will go along way to ensuring well behaved animals, service or not, if the owners of businesses understand that it is possible for them to ask the owner of a service animal to leave if that animal is missed behaving in anyway. That is, if the owner is not taking steps to ensure the behavior of of the service animal.

Taking them to places where blind individual dog handlers ought to have exclusive rights to go. I am sure the person who took his pet pig flying, the other week, claimed the pig was some sort of service animal. When the pig began traipsing up and down the isles of the airliner. When we read of people being allowed to take all sorts of animals everywhere using this claim without being gainsaid. Shouldn't dog guide users preserve the integrity of the privilege, so hard won, by insisting some sort of guide dog certificate be shown upon request? Drivers don't object to being licensed. Why shouldn't dog guide users demand in order to use a service dog, or, in that particular case, a pig, be at least asked to show some sort of documentation that that individual has the right to the use of such. Or to call whatever animal they want to bring in to a store, or on an airliner a dog guide, or service animal?
