Thank you so much for looking into this matter. I hope that the issue can be resolved soon. I too thought that the FHA covered campus housing. 
Abby, I think getting a group of supporters is also a good idea. Best of luck to you!

	Though the presentation of documentation that an animal is a service animal may not be required as a condition to access under the ADA, it is my understanding that it may be requested under the Fair Housing Act (FHA).Campus housing falls under the FHA. I have sent the complete agreement to our legal counsel for their input and guidance.

You are correct. Allergies are not a sufficient reason to deny an accommodation for a service animal.also the request that you provide documentation that cricket is a service animal is also illegal. You don't have to provide documentation. But I'm thinking that your ID would be sufficient to show that you both have completed training.
