The pastor has no valid position, in this year 2015. When the internet
provides all sorts of information on dog guides and their training. He
could well look up his concern on the internet. Or take time to talk to the
school which provided this person with her guide. To see whether his
concerns were worthy ones. Rather, he showed this person no Christian
charity. Which, as we all know, means "love". By bothering to rethink his
misguided assumptions. If this person isn't permitted on a church buss.
Whose purpose is to bring in children of all sorts to church, what good is
all our public education about dog guides. We may as well return to the
days when I first got a dog guide nearly 50 years ago now. Heavens, has it
been that long? When entrance to establishments and transport was strictly
based on the discretion of the establishment or transportation service. My
question to those who seem so tolerant of this unchristian person, and I
would not write this if he weren't a church leader, what is the difference
between a taxi driver who refuses to pick up a dog guide owner with his dog.
In fact, most who refuse to pick up passengers with dog guides are misguided
religiously speaking. I say this because I am familiar with Koranic law
regarding the care of dogs. Regardless which sorts of dogs they are. Such
ignorant taxi drivers aren't as versed in the Koranic laws as are Imams, and
are interpreting their Faith as best as they understand it to be. Even
though their poorly educated interpretation is wrong. But, a church Pastor,
who is supposed to understand how to research theological questions not even
taking time to understand the folly of his assumptions is not to be
tolerated, and he ought not to be allowed to continue holding his position
as head of his church.

Churches are exempt from these roles as their choice. It seems that
conservative churches
and the state legislators are protecting them against suits. i can feel
for that paster.
A Boxer as a guide dog in interesting to me.
I am sure you are hurting and in pain, but i suggest you think about this
and
try to understand the pastor's position.
This message is for the young lady who has the problem with the church.
People will sue for anything, and a knee jerk retain isn't the way to do it.
