Hi all,
If you live in the Canton area, you may want to check this out. Michael Hingson will be speaking on Wednesday, September 14th. Please forward this to anyone else who may be interested. I wish I lived closer, I'd love to be there. And if you have not yet read Thunder Dog, I urge you to do so, it's a really good book.
Have a great weekend!

The incredible account of a blind man, his guide dog, and a trust that led them
through a daring escape from the World Trade Center.
In honor of the 15th anniversary of September 11th, the Stark County
District Library is hosting a night that our community won’t want to
miss. Blind since birth, Michael Hingson narrowly escaped from the
78th floor of WTC 1 as the towers fell around him—thanks to his
unwavering trust in his guide dog and his faith in God. On September
14th, he comes to Stark County to share his incredible true account of
that day's harrowing events.
Michael is the New York Times bestselling author of Thunder Dog and a
world renowned community activist. He joins us for the debut of the
Dr. Audrey Lavin Speaking of Books Author Series created by the
Library to bring critically-acclaimed writers to Stark County to
inspire lively discussions and challenging conversation in our
community.
