[Oagdu] [txagdu] Service Animal Article from Associated Press

Angel, I have no control over how anyone else handles their service animal.
I know of people who have guide dogs from the same school I go to who feed
their dogs in restaurants and other places even though we are told we
should not do that. I wouldn't let my dog have anything to eat in the
situation you described because once I start doing that the dog will expect
to be fed in other places. I might make a comment but, in the end, each dog
handler makes their own decision. If someone offers to feed my dog I thank
them and tell them they wouldn't like the result. I learned that one
because I had a dog who couldn't eat anything other than her dog food. She
would get sick every time. That way the person who offered doesn't feel
rejected either.
