Oagdu minutes 4-10-2022
People present: LuAnn Bowers: Annette Anderson, Dianne Guaditis, Debbie Baker, Asia Quinone-Evans, Marianne Denning, Todd Elzey. .
Meeting was called to order at about 7-05. Since todd was a guest, he began the meeting by talking with us about the law as it applies to guide dogs and their owers. He explained that there is a real need to educate police officers and prosecuters about these laws since they may be asked to enforce them. 955.43 states the law: 955.99 explains the enforcement of the law. He also reminded us about the nagdu Service animal app which gives all of the state laws which apply to guide dogs along with other important information.

There is one correction to the minutes. Candy bars will be sold for $2 instead of $1.25.

There was no treasurer's report.

Fundraising committee report: 1. For the candy bar sales we will order 15 cases of candy bars; 36 bars per box; 3 cases of each flavor. Dianne will pick up the cases in Cleveland. Orders need to be put in by the 22nd of April so the cases can be picked up.

2. There has been some difficulty with the link for the honey baked ham sale.

Under old business: 1. gift cards from the Christmas party haven't been sent out yet.

2. Debbie hasn't heard anything more about the Rich Street pedestrian crossing requested by Steve Hoyt from Pilot Dogs.

There was no new business.
Debbie baker moved that we adjourn: Paula Jordan seconded.
Respectfully submitted,
Paula Jordan
