Quit Complaining
Have you ever heard someone go on and on about how terrible their life is? They have nothing positive to say and no matter how encouraging you try to be, they insist on seeing the dark side of life, as if they enjoy wallowing in their misery. After a while, no one really wants to be around all that negativity! Christians should be the most positive people on the planet! We have the blessed hope of a soon coming Savior–and living for eternity with Jesus! Now that’s something to look forward to! No matter how bad it gets–we have no reason to feel sorry for ourselves–because God has everything under control–and He has a better life planned for us! When tempted to be discouraged and start feeling sorry for ourselves, the best thing to do is “count our blessings!” Even the person who seems to have lost everything–still has “something” to praise Jesus for! We can all thank God for giving us life, for the air we breathe, His love and protection, His faithfulness and most of all, for sending His son to die on a cross so that we might have eternal life with Him! So let’s quit complaining–and start praising Jesus! Text: Romans 8:18, James 1:1-4, John 3:16

Bible Texts:
Romans 8:18 NKJV - For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

James 1:1-4 NKJV - James, a bondservant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad: Greetings. My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

John 3:16 NKJV - "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
