Accepting God’s Grace
There are many Christians who don’t fully realize the meaning of God’s grace. They believe that they need to be perfect before becoming a candidate for mercy. But God’s grace and mercy is extended to all His children who ask Him. No matter what the devil wants you to think–you simply can not earn grace. The definition of grace is: “to get something you do not deserve; unmerited favor.” Too often though, people wait and suffer through horrible guilt, agony, and remorse before drawing upon the grace of God. Their self worth is too low to even imagine how much God loves them. Satan fills their mind with self-loathing thoughts such as: “I’m not important,” “I’m a nobody, why would anyone love me?” “I don’t matter, it’s like I’m invisible,” But don’t listen to the devil’s lies. He wants to make you feel like a worthless idiot–but God wants to remind you that you are a highly loved and treasured child of the King of the Universe! Your heavenly Father stands ready to help you when you call. Oh how much better it would be if you reached out to God for His mercy–at your very time of need. He will give you the strength to face each trial no matter how bad you messed up or how terrible you feel about yourself. Hebrews 4:16 tells us, “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Keep calling upon God’s favor no matter what kind of trouble you are in. The Bible says in Jeremiah 33:3, “Call upon me and I will answer and show you great and mighty things which you know not of.” Call upon Jesus today–and accept His gift of grace. Text: 2 Corinthians 12:8-9, 2 Corinthians 6:1, Acts 4:33, Acts 20:32

Bible Texts:
2 Corinthians 12:8-9 NKJV - Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

2 Corinthians 6:1 NKJV - We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

Acts 4:33 NKJV - And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.

Acts 20:32 NKJV - "So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified."
