In the Valley
When things are tough and you’re down in the valley, with the fog so thick it clouds your vision– it’s easy to feel lost, lose faith, and begin blaming God for your misery. But whatever heartache you feel–it is NEVER God’s fault! He loves you with an abiding, unconditional love and He wants you to have life, and have it more abundantly. But sometimes, He allows you to be in the valley, where you can truly experience the glory of God and His divine intervention in your life. It is in the valley that you receive His comfort and come to understand that He is a God full of love, grace, and mercy, with the power to heal and restore. Instead of being bitter against God, thank Him for your trials! The Bible says in Philippians 4:11, “I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.” In other words, no matter what you are experiencing, whether heartache, loneliness, or the fullness of His joy–be content! The only thing you need to concern yourself with–is your relationship with God! It is when you are in the valley that you are leaning on God the most! Pray that God will keep you close to Him and ever faithful–and claim this text found in Psalm 23:4, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for you are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” Text: Joshua 1:9, John 10:10, Psalm 25:4, Psalm 37:24, John 14:1-3

Bible Texts:
Joshua 1:9 NKJV - "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

John 10:10 NKJV - "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."

Psalm 25:4 NKJV - Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths.

Psalm 37:24 NKJV - Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the LORD upholds him with His hand.

John 14:1-3 NKJV - "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. "In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."
