Live in the Present
People miss out on so many blessings because they haven’t learned to live each day to the fullest! If they are depressed, they are usually ‘living in the past’–moping about “the good ole days,” and how wonderful it used to be. There are those who find change difficult and so they wallow in the pit of depression, not knowing how to climb out. Then there are those who are on the opposite end of the spectrum who ‘live in the future.’ They dream and plan for the day when all the wonderful things will happen to them so that ‘then’ they will finally be happy! They are usually anxious, worried and live in a constant state of stress! But as Christians, we know God wants us to plan for the future, but live in the present, making the most of each day, as if it were our last! We can only do this by trusting our past, present and future to Jesus! He knows the end from the beginning and what is best for us! He will never let us down! As long as we are holding God’s hand, we don’t have to worry about tomorrow, or ten years down the road! Nor do we need to be all sad and depressed because life isn’t like it used to be! Every day with Jesus–is sweeter than the day before! Text: Philippians 4:11-13, Isaiah 41:10, Deuteronomy 31:6, Hebrews 11:1

Bible Texts:
Philippians 4:11-13 NKJV - Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Isaiah 41:10 NKJV - Fear not, for I [am] with you; Be not dismayed, for I [am] your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'

Deuteronomy 31:6 NKJV - "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He [is] the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you."

Hebrews 11:1 NKJV - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
